We have an opening for
the 2013-2014 School year at our Wendover location. This position will
start at the End of August (start of the new school year.) Assistant
Teachers work full time hours, approximately 10 months out of the year
and have summers off.
Job Summary:
Assist and support a classroom team in providing a
comprehensive Head Start program. Under
the supervision of the Teacher, the Classroom Assistant is responsible
for the safety, supervision, and activities of the pre-school age
children assigned under his/her care in the program.
Qualifications: Minimum
Child Development Associate credential; enrolled in a child development
associate credential program to be completed within 2 years; or enrolled
in a program leading to an associate or baccalaureate degree in Early
Childhood Education/ Family and Consumer Studies or a related field.
Wage:
$10.65
- $12.33 depending on education and experience
