The Salt Lake Community Action Program/Head Start is accepting applications for:

 

Job Title:                  Neighborhood Resource Specialist    

 

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Emergency Services Director, is responsible to provide a resource referral service to low-income households with food insecurities and other basic necessities. All efforts focus on securing basic resources and educating low-income households on services and resources available in the community that will help to stabilize the management of the home. Bilingual Spanish preferred

 

Qualifications: Associate Degree and two years related experience. 2 year of related experience. Knowledge of community resources and public services available to low-income households including; knowledge of housing programs/assistance, food stamp eligibility, child care, transportation, health care services, Head Start, eligibility requirements for social security disability and employment programs, cash assistance, senior programs, and financial counseling & educational services for families experiencing financial distress.

           

Work Hours:            8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Wage:                        $10.57 - $12.85 per hour - based on education and experience

Job Title:            Microsoft Systems Technician Support and Training        

 

Job Summary: Responsible to support IT staff with hardware and software. Associate or Bachelor Degree in related field preferred, 2 years of related experience, Previous Head Start experience preferred. Active Directory and Exchange Administrator. Experience in backing up and restoring Exchange Data Store. Experience in creating and managing Group Policies.

 

Work Hours:      8:30 - 5:00 pm

 

Wage:                 $14.42 - $20.10 per hour - based on education & experience
